Ingolv Haaland (born 1973) is a freelance musician/composer/arranger/producer, programmer and teacher.

He has worked with a wide range of artists and bands, TV and theatre, programming and as musical director/Band leader. Some of the artists he have collaborated with are :

Sarah Brightman, Rein Alexander, Egil Eldøen, Torhild Sivertsen, Trine Rein, Elisabeth Andreassen, Christine Guldbrandsen, Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra

He has also participated as repetitor and orchestral musician in several theatreproductions at Den Nationale Scene and Agder Theatre.

Ingolv Haaland holds a master´s degree in performing arts – music, from the University of Agder.

As a teacher he has a wide experience, and has since 1994 been teaching music at several highschools and universities in Norway.

The main music styles and musical background for Haaland is funk/jazz/pop/rock/salsa. Some of the pianists he is inspired by are Keith Jarrett, Russel Ferrante and Herbie Hancock

24.August 2009 Ingolv released his record "Journey", which was partly recorded in Cambodia, where he lived and worked in the past. All the tracks on the record are composed, produced and programmed by Haaland.

Ouch Savy, the female cambodian vocalist that participates on the record, has among others worked with Peter Gabriel.
